The Kentucky Mesonet is a network of automated weather and climate monitoring stations being developed by the Kentucky Climate Center at Western Kentucky University in cooperation with NOAA Weather Service to provide local weather data updated every five minutes at many locations across the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Web Soil Survey (WSS) provides soil data and information produced by the National Cooperative Soil Survey.
This map allows the grower to click on his county and bring up the precision forecast for his county. The forecast is in three hour intervals and helps with frost prediction, wind speed for spraying etc.
